Accessibility statement 

This accessibility statement applies to the website for Frimley Health NHS  Foundation Trust Education Academy www.fhfteducationacademy.com We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. This means you should be able to:  

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser functionality 
  • zoom in up to 300 per cent without the text spilling off the screen 
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard 
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software 
  • interact with most of the website using a screen reader (including most versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

How accessible this website is  

We know from accessibility reports that parts of our website are not fully accessible.  

  • Some text cannot be resized adequately, and some functionality is limited when the page is zoomed beyond 200% 
  • Some of the colour contrasts across our menus are not as sufficient as they should be
  • Some tables do not have row headers where needed, so cannot be navigated using the headers
  • Some of our menus are not accessible using the keyboard

What we are doing to improve accessibility  

We are aware that our website does not currently allow everyone to access all the  information provided in a fully accessible format. We are working to improve this and  are in the process of joining the FHFT entirely new website which will be designed to  the latest accessibility specifications. We currently expect this to be available by the  end of 2024. 

This website’s accessibility will be re-tested in October 2024 or when the new FHFT  website is published, whichever comes first.
