Overview of the course
Resilience is a dynamic skill set, varying in strength depending on one’s situation. There are times where we can face all the challenges life throws at us, and others where we cannot process the smallest thing.
Utilising the robust framework of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), this workshop offers an insightful lexicon of psychological terms to identify individual strengths and behaviours. The objective is to fortify your resilience toolkit and mitigate stress triggers effectively.
Upon course completion, participants will be equipped to recognise early signs of stress in themselves, others and offer proactive psychological support.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Undertake a comprehensive MBTI psychometric assessment and receive personalized feedback. This is an internationally accredited tool backed by over 10,000 peer-reviewed studies.
- Gain an introductory understanding of Jungian Cognitive Functions. Uncover the psychological foundation behind MBTI and learn to apply its language to interpret and employ Jungian theories.
- Explore Cognitive Functions when subjected to stress and understand patterns of ‘in-the-grip’ behaviour. Learn how to differentiate between extraverted and introverted stress responses and formulate strategies for intervention.
- Delve into the art of “Breaking Bad News” from a Jungian perspective. Discuss the individuality of patient needs and understand how personal values shape their psychological requirements.
